Electricity Capacity Level Support

Distribution Use of System (DUoS) charges cover the cost of building and maintaining the local distribution networks. Transmission Network Use of System (TNUoS) charges cover the cost of installing and maintaining the transmission system. Both pass-through charges are high Non Commodity Costs (NCC) included in UK energy bills for energy consumers with advanced Half-Hourly (HH) supplies. These costs are on the considerable rise as part of both Ofgem’s and the UK Government’s planned energy infrastructure of the future.

Our capacity level reports enable such energy consumers to review their historical Maximum Demand (MD) to determine possible savings in both DUoS and TNUoS by lowering their Maximum Import Capacity (MIC) without restricting their future electricity demands.

  • Our Process

We explain our clear 4 step process for completing a capacity level reduction exercise and list our fees. Customers can choose to stop at stage 3 after our capacity level report is issued.

  • Our Reports

Our hero product! Customers can make confident, data-led decisions on their required capacity levels based on these reports. Due to our in-house built technology, the reports can be issued at considerable speed. We charge £300 + VAT per supply for our 3 years reports and £450 + VAT per supply for our 6 year reports.

  • Our Case Studies
