Project EnergyBucket

Introducing the Energy Bucket – Smarter Energy Reporting at Scale

Delivery Date: 12/05/2025

Our team developed a powerful end-to-end solution called the Energy Bucket, using Python, SQL, and JavaScript within GitHub and Google Cloud. Designed for energy consumers, this innovative system collects large volumes of Half Hourly (HH) data and transforms it into targeted, insightful energy reports.

The Energy Bucket empowers consumers to better understand their energy usage, reduce costs, and take meaningful steps toward sustainability. One of its key capabilities is the HH Capacity Level Reduction service—a fully integrated feature that showcases the system's agility and effectiveness. In testing, this service alone delivered a 75-minute time saving per proposal, significantly streamlining our reporting process.

But the Energy Bucket doesn’t stop there. Its scalable design means it can be applied across a wide range of use cases in the energy sector, delivering advanced reports in a fraction of the time traditional methods require.

To ensure long-term success, we’ve also provided comprehensive training for company staff, starting from beginner coding skills, and implemented thorough security reviews. All processes and technical documentation have been fully detailed for future development and reference.

The Energy Bucket is more than a tool—it’s a smarter, faster way to manage and report on energy usage.
